Whoosh! The blur of a Saturday morning talk on hobbies that scale.

I started with the kids, and the 300 million Estes rockets they have launched, and worked up to the amateur suborbital behemoths in the Black Rock Desert. It was a nice segue to Virgin Galactic, and the next speaker…

    I saw that via the boingboing posts and posted with feedhead twas great
    as we all know when trying new things if you don’t get pictures it’s a bit of a let-down anyways
