The crisp clear air continued into today. Up at skyline, we could clearly see San Francisco in one direction, and the ocean in the other.

On the return, there are a series of bumps in the trail that make good jumps. I landed one off-angle and face-planted into a vertical dirt wall. Luckily, the abrasion spread evenly, and I only have some nicks and scratches.

  2. Must have been spectacular.

That was my first ride in California, back in ’93. Seeing the ocean on one side and the incredible Bay Area view on the other sold me completely, and I’ve stayed pretty much ever since.

Hope you recover soon from the face-plant!

  3. I always heard "On a clear day, UCLA".

  4. Go BIG or go Greyhound!
