[ reflection: sometimes it gets tricky for me to follow all your photos, with all those adventures they hold and the constant change of scenery -being one new place more fabulous than the previous ones-… difficult not to feel small while admiring and being grateful for all that you share. At those times a thought comforts me: I remember dear Immanuel Kant, and the curious fact while being one of the greatest thinkers ever, he never left his hometown. I then feel less bad about myself as this shows that not being able to travel the world is not a limitation for a curious mind. Hope you don´t mind the comment, I just felt like sharing part of the emotions which arise on this side of the screen. =)]
How well featured was the iPod interface? I’m sure the Audio was piped through the dock connector; did it play through the headphones or in-cabin speakers? Please don’t tell me they had a scroll wheel interface on the copter’s control stick…
Looks like an awesome ride. What company and model of helicopter was this? I’m trying to figure out which type of flight to go with for my trip to Kauai next month.
I know at least one company flies Hughes 500 helicopters with the doors-off. Would be a loud ride but should be conducive to nice photos with no window glare.
Ten points for the helicopter, minus a couple million for installing audio ovaries.
WOW!! I was there for my honeymoon a few years ago. We didn’t go on a helicopter tour, but now I wish I did!
I’ve chosen your photo for the competition of the week at Scientist Photographers group, you can follow the scoring in the discussion section of our group! Good Luck!
Your photo has stimulated some fascinating responses from viewers and it seems to me that only a miniscule of the human potential we tap into briefly on flickr is being harnessed for humanity. So let’s make an attempt to stimulate some such focus in our 2008 – "FIRST – THE EARTH!" Photo-ART Competition Exhibition, CAT. # 10 – ‘OUT OF THE ORDINARY’, and we’d love to have your photo added to the group pool & EXHIBITION.
