  1. more properties states: apperture f/0 , focal length 0mm..
    interesting:)

i take it this 8mm lens isn’t exactly made for the 5D?:)

  2. Right you are. It’s not even made for standard 35mm film. It’s from an armoured vehicle plant in Belarus. It’s as manual as it gets. Just like my 2300mm lens. =)

I did not read the Russian instructions, and I just learned online that setting the aperture manually is a two-step process (oops), and that the lens can protrude back into the camera body and snag on the SLR mirror! What a piece of work.

  3. LOL…!
    Oh, Wilbur …

  4. Oook, mirror damage sounds bad to me… Cute shot you got with it though.

(edit, Ah ha, fish eye! He doesn’t look very "fishy," though.)

  5. U must have been an inch from him going CHOMP!

  6. But the question remains: "And what did he say about the new lens?"

    +_+

  7. He was very curious and nose-butted the camera. Quite a startling perspective looking though the viewfinder.

  8. why the long face… (-:

  19. Ha, better you do that to a horse rather than to a loved one! The real Mr Ed might have something to say though. (I watched the shows when they were originally aired!)
