Right you are. It’s not even made for standard 35mm film. It’s from an armoured vehicle plant in Belarus. It’s as manual as it gets. Just like my 2300mm lens. =)
I did not read the Russian instructions, and I just learned online that setting the aperture manually is a two-step process (oops), and that the lens can protrude back into the camera body and snag on the SLR mirror! What a piece of work.

Ha, better you do that to a horse rather than to a loved one! The real Mr Ed might have something to say though. (I watched the shows when they were originally aired!)
