Pipes & Wires, and visual bliss

  1. Bliss? Hum….I prefer a garden of flowers to plant, a kitchen full of food without any cookbook or a blank pageon which to write anything I want. That is bliss for me where I can let my imaginationbe free to create.

Nevertheless, I see the stimulation for the highly technically-minded person in this contraption. (What is it?) In fact, I would love to follow the links in this thing to discover what they lead to and how they are useful.

Seen on your photo stream. (?)

  2. Pipes and wires… that’s what the internets are made of, right?

  3. This is the secrets under the skin of a Lunar Module Return Stage, a piece of engineering that put Men on the Moon in late sixties. Here, the vehicle is shown stripped of his thin aluminium skin and his therman blankets, and one can see clearly the fuel, oxidizer and pressurizing tanks and associated piping and wiring.
This machine represents the culmination of a certain technoculture that is now somewhat depreciated.

  4. Bliss indeed. A glory shot. I can look at stuff like this for hours, or days.

  5. Overwhelming to someone with a non-technical mind but still totally intriguing shapes, lines and colours.

  6. True art, crafted from the soul.

  7. Incredible shot. I’ve never seen such a good illustration of the LM’s innards.
