   If I had some real money, I would commission a series of mannequin heads that look like Pete Conrad and Deke Slayton and Alexei Leonov and donate a set to every cash-strapped museum and space program. Every time I see a display like this with fashion heads inside the spacesuits, I feel like I’m in an episode of the original "Battlestar Galactica."

   (It’s not a pleasant sensation.)
