The push broom was a nice touch.

The lawn-dart rocket left a playa divot. The fin on the left was the largest intact chunk. The motor casing looks reusable.

All debris was removed from the playa so as to leave no trash behind.

  1. Reminds me of the time I came upon the aftermath of a highway accident and saw a state trooper pull a broom out of his cruiser to finish the cleanup.

  2. Update on the motor casing. Destroyed as well. The impact crushed the graphite nozzle and forward closure, bulging the case. The failure was caused by not enough current from the accelerometer to fire the electric match. Live and learn.
