The rockets come back by parachute, sometimes a far distance from the pad. But, there are no trees to fear, or even rocks for that matter. Black Rock Desert is possibly the largest flat surface on Earth.

Next weekend, I plan to fly it past Mach1 with a K695 motor. I will need to insert a flight computer and electronically deploy two chutes, a small drogue at apogee, and then the main chute at about 800 ft.
