My backpack still has a sewn-on Canadian flag from 8th grade.

Canada welcomed many Eastern European refugees fleeing Stalin at the end of WWII, including my parents and 100% of my surviving relatives.

    A beautiful photo. It is so close that one would think that you are another goose flying next to him, camera in hand! Like the historical photographer recording the activities of the group.

    This is a great addition to your animal parade. You are indeed attracted to animals and birds.

  6. I mingled among hundreds of geese… I watched them for a while… noticing their inbound flight path…. and gave a nod to the goosegoddess…

    It also helped to have an image stabilizing gyro on the 400mm lens so I could pan and shoot without a tripod. =)
