   That is why the tires are supposed to be glued to the rims… I have that same truck.

   It looks like that chassis has only a center Limited Slip Differential (if any), and conventional differentials on the axles.

   Torque is a terrible thing to waste. The installation of a traction tuning kit with front- and rear-axle LSDs seems advisable 🙂

   imagine if this could happen to real tires on real monster trucks….

   imagine if the rubber’s structural integrity was compromised…and WACK…

   …..at what speed would chunks-o-tire be hurtling towards spectators……?

   Top fuelers do this on purpose. The tire elongating and spinning almost free of the wheel (you’ll notice it wrinkles if you watch high speed footage) is calculated into the gearing ratios. Crazy stuff.

   Just wanted to share with everyone a direct cut-and-paste of an email I received from garvershs. Seems like a simple "The tires were glued before we started" post here would have been sufficient, but he thought he needed to bash someone for some reason… Oh, and no I do not have a picture of every item I own on my flickr stream – sorry. I did notice that garv himself has absolutely NO pictures on his stream though.

   "you do not have the same truck as mine you no nothing about my truck and if you did have the same truck then why dont we see a pic of it on one of your 20 pages of pics you have now????????????? oh and by the way my tires were glued before the day started so dont comment on things you know nothing about or just come on out and we will school you on how to drive your truck when you get one…………."
