   napas: underground aquifers, one critical factor on vineyards which ultimately affect the flavour of the wine.

   Fruity wines are sometimes the result of the vineyards being surrounded by fields where fruit trees grow. As the underground aquifers are shared a slight but tastable mix of flavours happen and are noticeable in the taste of the wine.

   BUT, this seems to be the story behind the name. Anyway, it would be nice that you share this connection with the spanish word the next time you go… if there is anything alse more interesting to say! 😉
