  5. Well… I was at an outdoor party, enjoying some red wine. That is the key for getting this shot. The spice must flow. =)

    I did not have my camera, so I borrowed one and used a mini tripod. The initial jitter comes from the exposure button press and some instability in the tripod (I think… not entirely sure). Then I let it sit still for the rest of the exposure to get the faint reflected light (Sun->Earth->Moon->Earth) from the bulk of the moon. Also known as Earthshine:
