This is very odd for me, as I have never lived in a place where it snows.

Seen mountain biking today in Russian Ridge near Skyline.

  1. Lovely, lovely! I never lived in an snowy place either so I understand you getting emotional about it… ;-P

Anyway, my happiness about your snowy news is for other reasons, too… Will still be cold for a long while up there right?

    Yeeehaa! =D

ohhh, I mean no evil here… You will understand later and hopefully -i hope!- you´ll be happy too that´s still little cold there. |-)

  2. practically looks like it could be early winter in Russia, not Russian Ridge!

  3. Snow in your area is strange indeed. I would find it sad. Snow is too beautiful to be barely the star of the day. It must be full snow on the ground to be aprreciated. I bet it lasted a short time. Fun though.

Actually, it looks like the hill is covered with white wildflowers! Name? Hum, snowflake wildflowers. Good name?

  4. Yeah. But I think it looks like a marshmellow creme slip ‘n slide…

There was a family actually trying to sled on this hill. Cracked me up.

  5. Ok, you saw it. I know this kind of barely white cover. Makes sense.

So marshmallow creme it is! And just in case you want some more when it dissapears:
Fluff or make-believe-snow for those who live in California

  6. really… trying to sled? ¿:-/

I just had it as a glimpse for a Simpsons´ episode!

It began to lightly snow in Springfield -like there in CA- and you see families trying to sled in the main park, with their skies on, chains for the car tires… all an exageration for 1000 miserable snowflakes!

    LOL! 😀

  7. awesome shot…pov and the trail into the clouds, a very happy image in it’s setting. (the muck would have been a challenge tho:)

  8. Snow?

    *Harumph*

Where I come from we would call that frost! Durn kids!

(OK, I lied. I live in the deserts of AZ, where it will be in the 70’s today.)

  9. It snowed in the Bay Area because this was an unusually cold storm. Cold storms bring lighter, drier, fluffier snow to the Sierras. This weekend was exceptionally fluffy.

  10. ♫ …fluff is in the air
    everywhere I look around… ♫
