Mountain biking in Russian Ridge today.

Having the camera at arms length captured some of the facial treatment.

Moments earlier, my muddy brakes slipped, and I went off the trail. Luckily there was a branch overhead that I grabbed with both hands to avoid jamming down a precipice.

  2. Time for the helmet-Cam. THAT move would have been a killer video!

Ah… Russian ridge. Today I’m ready to move there and camp if necessary, to get out of this 100 day rain torture up in Porltand.

    Ride On!!!

  3. oh… I´d love to be a fun friend too and congratulate you on your wild adventures and good luck (like finding branches to grab while falling down a precipice)… BUT…

My female motherly reaction is stronger… uhm.

You could have killed yourself, why do we have to be always worried when you go biking those places that you migh get wounded? Are your friends taking care of you or what? When are you going to learn that you have to be careful and not go near dangerous places?!Jesus.

Now, I am happy to see you muddy and safe. Very happy. I would be very sad (and angry!!!!) if you get hurt in any of those rides.

    Seriously, please take care. =)

Where is Russian Ridge? Looks lovely.

  8. Whassup B? Yup… the same posse from our slip n’ slide ride.

Russian Ridge is at the intersection of Skyline and Page Mill. It’s a great ride in Spring with different wildflowers every few weeks:
