My “Frankenstein” rocket worked like a charm, and a dusk launch made the pyrotechnics visible throughout the video (launch, stage separation, burnout, and timer burn).
The top half of the rocket is an Estes Oracle. The bottom half is a Blue Ninja, modified to take E-class engines. I also taped on a D-size booster stage with fins from the Estes CC Express rocket (that’s why you see a mess of unaligned fins).
