When I revisited my spotted eagle ray friend, I once again kicked as fast as I could, with fins, to keep up with him… this time a bit deeper.

The little streaks are motion blur from particles in the water, near the camera.

JKaljundi noted that this ray “grows to 3 m width. It sometimes even leaps high out of the water, the only ray to do that.”

  9. I don’t know whether spotted eagle rays breach or not, but manta rays definitely do.
