2-Stage Screamer

This little light-weight 2-stage rocket may have hit the altitude record for the day. I had modified the top stage to take an engine 2x as big as the stock design. I recovered the D12 booster, but the top stage screamed off on a E9-8 not to be seen again.

Three people told me they were looking forward to this CC Express launch because “you’re never going recover that one.” True.
