The little streaks are motion blur from particles in the water, near the camera.
I was kicking as fast as I could… with fins, to keep up with him…
Great shot. The streaks add a feeling of motion.
You’re on fire today!
Nice. I wish my underwater shots turned out this well.
(I didn’t even know this waterproof Optio camera existed. You’re on fire in terms of new cameras too!) 🙂
Great shot!
How’s the coral in Hawaii?
Snorkeling or diving?
Very nice… reminds me of when I was in Florida and swam with the dolphins/
Nice. Next time put the camera down and grab hold of that sucker!
wow! i’m asking santa for your maverick fins!! excellent.
what an experience…
very beautiful specimen 🙂
Nice shot.
Looks like a (white-)spotted eagle ray, which grows to 3 m width. It sometimes even leaps high out of the water, the only ray to do that. They live up to 25 or so years. Nice one, it seems from the photo to be in quite shallow water.
I’m glad you finally got that waterproof camera you were hinting about before… very nice.
!!!!!!!!!!!
Gorgeous creature.
merci y’all.
JKaljundi: right on. Thanks for the extra flavor.
Sparklig: snorkeling. Turtles everywhere…. still trying to get a clear shot of them under water…
Complexify: The Optio WP a real treat as a specialty camera. It also takes a 1cm macro zoom (used in the prior ant macros).
Great!
