A tender moment…

The poor hippo under water is a pillow for a head that must weigh down like a VW. Every few minutes, he would strain to get a couple nostrils above water for a breath.

  1. They so remind me of the platypus…the sunlight on it’s back really sets the snoozey mood up, what a sweet share this is:)

  2. You Crack me up. Kenneth only use that when I’m in court ;). You see they are better off with Bath Pillows that way they can lie on their backs and enjoy themselves. Great Shot.

  3. Comment: A know a few changes there. There is a lot of it about.

  4. Re-nice. For the day taken, I officially name it: the 23.

    Did someone say… platypus?

Very loving animals, indeed. Say, unstoppable.

  5. L’amour, toujours l’amour! 😉

  6. This is like a Woody Allen joke in regards to relationships…
I think what we have here is a drown hippo.

  7. How cute… if a 2 ton animal can be cute!

  8. All pillows have to make some sacrafice!

  9. Hi, here’s another version of the hippo love

    A nice place to rest

    have a nice weekend!

  10. oh, so, it is hippo love!

I mean, your photo, Michael, made me think that these two buddies here were not simply resting like that… As put by Steve, their heads weigh a ton that must be a burden, so becoming a friend´s pillow is a true act of love among hippos. And/Or taking a friend as a pillow is considered an act of trust, or confidence or friendship… =)

Ok… perhaps it is too obvious, but I didn´t see it this way. Thx for the enlightment. 😉

  11. Yes Gisela, you are right. It’s the love shared among the hippo family members. 😉
