  1. What is the range on that thing? If I could pump up the transmitter (the FCC wouldn’t mind, would they?) and increase the speed, I would get five. All I need to do is run the controls through my desktop, where I can multitask, and I can have five bots Trick or Treating for me.

And just wait until I get some autonomous software installed, then I wont have to do anything!

    Ah, technology.

  2. Brilliant! Now all we need to do is amass an army of these bots to go forth and collect candy, bring them back convert the sugars into alcohol to feed fuel cells and the worlds energy problems will be solved in no time!

  3. If you made them autonomous, oddwick, they might come back with a bag full of lithium-ion batteries instead of candy.

  4. Ahh, this must be the new X-31 Robotic Candy Analysis and Disposal Device: In case X-raying your kids’ candy doesn’t provide enough comfort, now you can collect, inspect, and destroy suspicious candy from a safe distance. 😉

  5. Rocketeer: Then sell the Li-ion batteries on Ebay (or Google Base) and we have the whole hunter/gatherer thang all over again.

  6. Weren´t you into nanobots?
Or is this a macro scale prototype?
