   What is your impression of IP protection in China? Anecdotal evidence says they ignore IP protection from the west. Is this supported by your experiences? Do they pay more respect to the IP of other Chinese?
   (I must admit I am largely ignorant in this area.)

   Just saw a tv show about that… western IP not respected, but try and rip-off the chinese olympics logo and WAMO! You don’t get lawyers on your tail, you get the army. All’s fair in love, war and business… and anything else you can rationalize!

   heh… Reminds me of a comment Ballmer made at Microsoft’s SV office earlier this year:

   “Our price in China is the same as Linux. Not the list price, of course, but the effective price.”
