   HA! A fella much like this looked up at my wife while she was eating hot pot in Beijing in 1999. Nicole thought the eel was dead, but apparently it was "only a flesh wound." The eel looked up pathetically from the plate and mouthed something that we interpreted to mean "Help me!" My wife was too terrified even to scream… she just sat there, wide-eyed and panic-stricken. It was hilarious. And later, it was delicious.
