   It IS a great place to ride, as Steve can now attest! We were both up in the magic forest that same morning. It really is a special spot, with seemingly endless possibilities for riding fun as well as deep forest magic.

   thanks! The old Casio "G-shock" Z3 is still holding strong. After a few whacks, the bad pixel column seems to have fixed itself. =)

   Lamo: that would be "Dean the Machine"

   fungoi: Yes… it totally rocks. My favorite feature is the localized drippy rain patches on a sunny morning…. Each redwood tree captures so much coastal fog moisture that they "rain" down for hours… So it’s a tree-splashed-rain-bath biking through the patches….

    thanks y’all. The Casio is great with greens… the perfect camera to mountain bike with…

    And the angle is interesting because this is actually a fairly steep drop off. The trees are attached to the side like mountain goats perched on a precipice…
