For the O-sized motors, they spoke with the company that makes the launchers for cruise missiles and convinced them that they could lower their costs if they sold a few extras to the rocket club.
The smoke is a great way to clear your sinus… of their own lining.
That is a lot of fire. How high do those things go?
So do the motors differ at all from the cruise missle launchers? Or are they literally the same motor?

Benjiman: not entirely sure… My ears perked up when I heard it from the designer. The sense I got was that they are the same to help lower costs.

I just posted some rocket video. You can hear one here, with an engine probably 1/4 the size of this one.
At the end, the announcer says: “Remember, mortgage before motors.”
