  1. …for a second I thought it was my old VW Bug. eeek!

  2. I just love racing these in the forests during wintertime, much more fun than modern jeeps. And there is no power steering.

  3. Philips or Flat-blade?

I ask because I just found out it takes only the former to break into my apartment.

  4. Uncle Victor: flathead. Recent break-in?

JK: that sounds real safe! =) no airbags either….

  5. oh, no, Vic! a literal ‘break into’ (car accident) or a robbery?

Any of the two, I am very sorry. I hope it was the least harmful of the two.

Is that your feet in the photo, Steve? What an odd footwear!

  6. Real safe, as there is no speed either 😐 The only thing that can happen to you is rolling down some side of a hill, falling out of the car and it smashing onto you.

  7. Oh, so it’s just like snowmobiling… but heavier…

Alieness: mais oui. I am in the back seat. The shoes were given out by Nike at TED. They are very light, with what appears to be a metal mesh over the toes.

  8. mmm… but i don´t see the pipe. R u sure they are Nike?

    hehe.

Hey, so now I understand… For their lightness, that black band comes to prevent snikers from flying away. Ah.

  9. No way*****************
hahaaa………….you rock, always sth. cool´n funny*****

  10. ..reminds me that in late 80-s, during agony of soviet economy, they offered their UAZ (btw, it’s UAZ 469 on the pic, i suppose) without engine, so a happy customers had to find (yes, rather «find» then «buy», due to total deficit of everythin & everywhere) and install it themselves 🙂

  11. This is a great photograph… the foot is distracting…

  12. Great image! My brother-in-law used to start his International with a screwdriver as well.
