  4. Always loved the irony of the entry to old town. Wonder if they still charge for ketchup.

  6. Congratulations, Steve! And what a picture to celebrate this with! Big Macs and history, lol!

  7. to Ross: yes, they do 🙂

  8. Is it only a photographic artifact, or did they actually try to give the golden arches a look of burnished yellow metal, possibly to try to blend into the old surroundings ?

  9. Congratulations, Steve!
My anniversary gift’s : I’ll keep this photo in the pool! lol

  10. thanks y’all. Flickr is magical because of people like you.

nhr: That’s a tasteful idea… But no… its golden glow comes from an internal light. You can see a power cord snaking in from the top.

  11. M… Music, Miracle, Magic, Man, Moth… Mmmm, much mesmerizing… Mazing mysterious meanings…many more matches meet my mind.

  15. The same dream came to me too!

  16. Leandro (rezlaj) (the eclectic w/the dentist avatar, remember? =) neighbour of mine down here) was in Tallinn too those days… how bizarre.

  17. Taken on the same day!!! Damn, hell, crap, we might have even seen each other there and didn’t realise!

  18. Rezlaj: Good to see ya. You confuse me with the new user name and icon. =) Great to see your Eesti pics.

Eppie: McCulture. Now Starbucks estimates they will soon have more shops in China than in the U.S.

  19. even epp is here… we are everywhere there’s a login/pass site 😛

  20. Mais oui, Lea! We can´t stay apart too long, if it looks so, it is just apparent… We are sticked together by an invisible cosmic powder, like a galactic chewing-gum (I can see it for my eye 0-) y´know) so once one tries to dettach from the rest of the crew, the others follow necessarily like a spring.

    That´s it.

And the love, of course. =)

  21. Very cool !!

  25. Great juxtaposition of the turret, lamppost, and McDonald’s sign. Love it!

    Seen in 1-2-3 (?)

  26. You should go and see the MacDonald’s in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany: They even made McD to change their golden plastics M to a cast-bronze M.
