   i’ve been tempted to buy one of these bio-gel ant farms for months. do they seem happy in there?

   Hyperbolation– definitely worth the purchase. I’ve got mine just about cleaned out and ready for another batch of ants. (I knew I kept those pipe cleaners around for something.)

   I’m also considering a similar pet for my work space. I would like either a gel ant farm or triops.

   Nell: I have 7 hyperactive triops growing at home. They are great, but they need to be fed each day, which is a hassle for an "office pet" (over the weekends or if you travel).

   The Gel ant farm is ideal in that regard – no food, no water. The Ecosphere is similar in that regard, but there is less to see there.

    thanks y’all! It was a bit of a magical moment as she made a series of aggressive gestures toward the lens 1cm from her jaws….. an inter-species tango of sorts
