   Now THERE’s my kind of photo – I love the mix of nature and industrial. Was this that ‘sand factory’ down Hwy 1, half-way to Santa Cruz?

   Might be. I took it from the train window. If you want to get the location, you could use the 3:22pm time stamp of the photo and reference it to the Amtrack Coast Starlight schedule…. (figuring that they are about 1/2 hour late by this point in the trip).
