  3. Each winter, about 7,500 elk migrate to the National Elk Refuge. The bulls shed their antlers each spring. The local Boy Scouts collect them and auction them in the public square. Each of the entrances to the square has these huge arches made of elk antlers. As for the shootout, I have no idea. I hope it’s for photographers. =)

  4. funny story… the symbolism triggered some more odd ideas in me, tho.

  5. the shootout is a reenactment, of sorts. takes place every day in the summer on town square, on the corner by this sign.
