The world’s largest Ferrari/Maserati dealership just opened up down the road in Redwood City. Lots of eye candy and one-of-a-kind cars….

  1. Huh. I heard a little about it, but did not know that it was the worlds largest. I thought it was a re-vamping of the old Ferarri dealer in Los Gatos.

That really shows what faith the italians have in the Bay Area’s ability to produce large amount of expendible income.

  2. Good point. There have about $10MM of cars in the front window alone!

They have the only Maserati MC12 in the U.S. (on the cover of Road and Track this month… 630HP… 0-to-60 in 3.5 seconds.)

The owner’s son pointed out that the unique car in this photo – not street legal and signed by a race car driver – received a $4MM purchase offer (which they turned down).

As for size, here’s an article on them.

    faith, billy?

It looks like a matter of fact from the outside, let me say.

Now where the italians are acting blindly (faith) I think, is in assuming that the californian people behind those obscene sums match the profile of one who would drive a ferrari.

    I seriously doubt.

Italians may be thinking californians as italians with money. We all tend to think about the other people as ourselves just under their own circumstances… but the cultural difference is stunning.

  4. Interesting angle in this photo!

  5. I guess this area is pretty affluent. It’s overemployed citizens have also shown a penchant for expensive autos as well. Usually this is reflected in an abundence of the latest German or Japannese offerings. I know of very few people with enough income or assets to afford the above pictured though.

I wonder if the next Ferarri dealership built in the world will take the title of the world’s largest. In other words, maybe the title has nothing to do with the geolocaiton and is more related to the age and a new approach to auto dealerships in Modena.

  6. Go Gocarrt. Very nice.

I especially like the Italian spin on electic hybrid supercar design….

  7. I love anything designed by Pininfarina, my brother who raced, is a collector and wrote a book about Ferrari.

  8. The bugatti veyron should also be on this list.

  9. Super duper cool shot…love the angle and reflection !
