   Thanks y’all. I just gave blood, so I am feelng a little loopy.

   iv0: the bird was our in-vehicle escort to a cool party at TED in Monterey, CA.

   Rocketeer: My jacket and shirt kept the skin on my arm intact, but heavily bruised. The bird held on for a few seconds before letting go. I thought I had a good head bobbing exchange, but maybe I was just making the bird angry.
