Many international dignitaries and heads of state have dined at Buck’s during their visits to Silicon Valley. While the room is ripe with visual distraction, humorous objets d’art, and the occasional TV crew, their faces go through a wave of contortions as they parse this bright object bolted to the back corner of the room…

  1. Ack…WRONG is an understatement!

  2. i had to smile, amazing.i will have to show this to my german shepard ..bea.

  3. I used to draw this contraption on chalkboards or whiteboards during long waits for meetings to start at work. I called it a "Texas Aggie Dog Carrier".

  4. Kevin: You probably have the prior art for a patent claim!

Stephenfarman: how did he take it?

Robin: good to see you are a dog lover too

  5. I love all animals! I would LOVE to have a DOG, too, but until I am done fostering cats and the cat population is lower in my house, it’ll have to wait. 🙂

  6. thats a horrible creation !!

i’d like the creator of this porta pooch to try it on himself befor he tries it on an innocent creature !!

  7. Some people just don’t get a joke.

HoNe$t: IT’S A JOKE! Nobody EVER intended this contraption to be used on a real, living, breathing animal.

I guess it’s like Gary Larson’s humor, sometimes absurd things aren’t funny to some people… but they are to me, because I recognize the absurdity.

  8. Good point. If they were intending to sell this, they would have probably included a slider for different dog sizes.

The market is probably not big enough for separate poodle and labrador porta-pooches.

  9. Steve, on the model I drew, it had an adjustable hole/pin configuration in the bar. I guess that part wasn’t needed to get the point across for this novelty.

  10. there’s an art form of useless ficticious catalog itesms that is supposedly very hot in japan. this could fit right in.

  11. what the heck is that pointy thing attached to the handle?

  12. That part goes in the dog’s butt, racingsquirrel. You tighten it up until you can carry the dog.

  13. That’s what I thought it did, and that’s what makes it all wrong.

  14. ROTFLMAO!!! Ohhhhh… that is great!!! Where does one get one of those???! hehehehehe!

Do you have smaller models for cats??
