When we found this cold blooded fellow outside, we thought he was a dead worm, because he wouldn’t move even as we picked him up. But, after warming up on our hands, he became quite perky. Here he is crawling over a pinky finger.

  1. So what are you going to call this new member of the family? He certainly is a cute little bugger. Looks like he’s speckled with gold.

  2. So cool that something inherent in our species like our body heat could revive a species so different from us.

    We all slow down a bit in the cold but were we cold blooded… I can just see some business meeting grind to a halt because maintenance turned the dang a/c down to fifty degrees (like they do). There they’d be, a table of frozen suits able to move nothing but their eyeballs until the assistant arrived with coffee.

  4. very funny mental images! I’m thinking of that guy zonked out on lithium, in the movie Garden State, with just his eyes rolling around.

    As for this guy, we named him Sal and let him go…
