Puzzle Series: What is this, or what do you want it to be?

  1. The Honey Vortex.

That’s not a porno is it?

  2. Your reflection in a x-mas tree ornament, perhaps?

  3. It looks like you’re looking down on a beverage. I see a lemon wedge and maybe an ice cube. The other "horn" shaped item though seems out of place in a beverage. Obviously the beverage (if it is one) is in a container that has a mirrored surface.

  4. You trying to figure out what is in the heart of the flaming hurricane you are wrapped by.

  5. Some very funny ideas…. and great notes too.

Partial Bingo to the new entrant, KAGoldberg. He is correct, but what kind of ornament… and how did the boxed items in the Notes get there?

  6. let’s says it’s the interior of a christmas ball, broken of maybe partially destained…
    I should make a drawing
[Edit] Calculating reflections with Bryce will take an hour ! at least :-([/edit]

  7. Bingo OldCola + KAG. OldCola is traveling in the outback, so he has intermittent access to computers…. Yet, when he does show up, he’s "the cleaner".

There are so many cool views of this partially broken ball. I’ll post one more. It’s a big ball that had a small glass tree spear through it, leaving most of the ball intact, but with some puncture holes. I put the camera barrel in through the hole and caught light that came in elsewhere. The total internal reflections create a curvy hall-of-mirrors. Bouncing off the backside sphere flips the image. (So, this photo is upside down.)

I am still chuckling at the creative answers…. Thanks all!

  8. OK then, I’ll make it smaller and without Steve’s face 😉

  9. Goog job KAG and OldCOla! I still think that looks like a lemon wedge in there floating around… 0-)

  10. sigh… late for the party again. :/

  11. Eppie: [blush]
Rocketeer: OK, I slipped a lemon in there.
    OldCola: waiting for your remix.
KAGoldberg: you rock. On another topic, thanks for the pointer on the car rescue photos. I posted a message saying thanks for the pointer, and that I passed it to the photographer friend who sent me the photos. The dingy appearing in frame was the clincher. Something was odd, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Then, I removed the series because I did not want to keep it.

  12. In response to the questions in the notes above:

Top left note box is the out of focus outside edge of the ball (not a finger).

Top right note box is actually a portal hole view through to a stone fireplace behind my head.

  13. Hi, I’m an admin for a group called Casio EX-Z3, and we’d love to have your photo taken with your Casio EX-Z3 added to the group. (please don’t send "everyday pictures" to the pool!)
