  1. Oh, but it looks like she had a great time!

  2. How’d you know? This pretty boy is a he…. with his scarf still on from the groomers.

He got out to visit a lady dog friend across town. He had to climb a chain link fence to get into her kennel!

  3. Oh no! Ya know, if he doesn’t cut that out, his coat’s not going to be the only thing getting snipped.

  4. This is what happens to bad dogs.

  5. Ross: wow. I had not thought of street clothes. =) It’s nice to have shared experiences with the same dog. Good to know Konrad was incorrigible.

Vanita: He had already been snipped! We thought that made him a "consultant". Some habits are hard to shake….

  6. Bad dog? That’s a little unfair isn’t it, Steve? I mean.. the boy was just doing what god intended… frolicking and stuff…

  7. yes… and I love the dissonance with his expression…

He’s looking at someone saying "you’ve been a very bad dog"

But there is also the history. Konrad was not a one time offender. He dug under the fence (so we sunk cement). Then he would pull open a hole in the chain link fence wide enough to wiggle through (so we boarded the low parts with wood). Then he learned to climb chain link at the corners (so we put an overhang ledge at the top). Then he found a way to do a running jump over the fence (so we let Ross adopt him =)

  8. He sounds very resourceful 😉

  9. I love this photo. I found it in Funny Ha Ha, it was good to see it again!

He reminds me of the videogame Katamari Damacy.

  10. That Sammy had a GREAT time!

  11. My poodle Boyz can so relate to this! The Pack affectionately calls it "Poodle Jewelry".

  12. Oh wow… mine has done something similar.

  13. Konrad looks like a Samoyed. Is he? My father had a Samoyed years ago, in Kansas, university town, large fenced yard. Nothing could keep that dog in. He scaled walls, fences. I have heard it is something with this breed. My father’s dog had to be rehomed to a farm where he would be safer. I hope Konrad is safe.

  14. Yes… and the solution that finally worked – a female companion! =)

gina: hmmm…looking at your icon, I see a certain resemblance…

  15. Oh god, I bet you had had a time cleaning his naughty fun, hahaha
