What is on the left half of this photo?
OldC! How do you do! goo´2 c u ´round here…
In my planet things like that are simply trash cans or paper bins. The pattern OldC mentions also uncomforts me, tho… As well as that fine vertical line I marked with a note. The gates of the unknown, maybe?
0-)
btw… this is odd… look: http://www.flickr.com/photos/morrissey/1011421/
FlatCoke: Good morning en français.
I think you got it. If I presume you mean a semiconductor memory…. or a LCD display… Go Cola!
It is a wafer of electronics on plastic. Normally these are planar and flat, but this one is wrapped around a green wine bottle for decoration. The trick is finding a low-temperature deposition process for making decent transistors on plastic. If you can do this, you can make backplanes for LCD panels.
You were right about the one odd cell. On a semiconductor wafer, there are typically some test reticles mixed with the regular array.
The carpet on the right happened to be a similar green, and the lines of light are from vertical blinds.
