For anyone who has driven past the foothills near Stanford, the Dish beckons, like an enigmatic jungle gym for atavistic adults…. There is a nice view from the top, and the ground lines to the red blinking lights can give a shock. Climbing down the back spine can be tricky, as my brave friend “Greenleaf” discovered.
