For anyone who has driven past the foothills near Stanford, the Dish beckons, like an enigmatic jungle gym for atavistic adults…. There is a nice view from the top, and the ground lines to the red blinking lights can give a shock. Climbing down the back spine can be tricky, as my brave friend “Greenleaf” discovered. 1. Cool. Somewhere I’ve got a picture of myself standing under the feeds of this dish, (while it was pointed straight up, unlike in this one,) now I’ve got to go find it… It’s a very impressive structure.
