Our NanoCar spoof at the Sand Hill Derby got picked up as a serious story. We thought the “NanoCorinthian Leather” and Synthetic Human Driver would be a sure give away….

  1. "The NanoCar Race" or…

    "Happiness: Fragile. Handle with care."

  2. And now there is a book that talks about this spoof! (search for DFJ)

  3. Sorry that I can´t follow the link. Amazon doesn´t let me in. 🙁

Anyway, you surely reffer to the Nanocar spoof and not to a possible Hapinness spoof, don´t you?

  4. Oh, I updated the link. If it’s expired again, search for "DFJ" inside the book at Amazon.

  6. LOL!! 🙂 Good job spoofing 😉

  7. That’s great! Love it! I once tried pulling a spoof, and 2 auto magazines were going to run stories on it until I filled them in. Makes you wonder about the veracity of our media.

  8. And a good spoof can’t die on the Internet… The SEO spam farms give it new life in 2010, and 2011

And even online encyclopedias and Factbites and physicsforums.

  9. And the French now too! "Nanocar race to take place next month on gold racetrack, the first ever race of molecule-cars" — News and Site
