  6. Yes, a chain mail classic from a couple years ago. I should mention that I did not take/make this photo, and I have no idea where it came from. But it made me burst out laughing, and so I wanted to share it.

    Merry Xmas Y’all.

  16. heh, i cant decide whether to laugh or cry!
heehee, i cant belive that. is he crying that santa is dead?

  17. Good question. One theory says that the blondie is actually crying because the phtographer stepped on his feet heavily while trying to get a better angle for the shot.

    Who knows?

  18. omg….thats sad and funny POOR KID!!!!!

  19. that is way to funny i cant stop laughing

  20. Too much! My kids will be crying too when I give em a look at this photo. Say it isn’t so..

  21. Hey… I just noticed that his noodly appendage has lent a hand to the artwork on the tombstone…

FSM has left clues throughout history… Like Nostradamus…

  22. This is so wrong on so many levels… I just about fell out of my chair laughing though. It looks a lot like a Photoshop to me, but that doesn’t make it less funny.

Saw that you’re speaking at the Singularity Summit, and came across your flickr photos — then realized your username looked familiar.

    I love this shot.

  30. I knew Santa was dead ‘cos my dad said he shot him, thats why we never got presents.

  31. Not funny. Don’t know who "created" this, but doubtful any kid would cry that much when he goes.

  35. TRUTH:
Santa Claus is a spirit. So he is dead. That girl is just too young to know.

  36. Hello,

do you mind if I use your image in a show for Big Top Chautauqua? It’s awesome and would be on a screen for a minute behind people playing Christmas Music.

    Thanks for your consideration.

    Jeremy

  37. [http://www.flickr.com/photos/ivonne] its hilarious

  38. where is the tombstone located ????

  39. fourth circle of hell

  40. Santa Claus is not really dead because he, his wife Mrs. Claus, his reindeer and his elves are all eternal and immortal and still all live in a completely hidden and unfound location at The North Pole. Besides that, I believe Santa Claus was born in the early 12th Century (circa 1100 A.D.) not in 1836, so I do not think he ever really died in 2000 at the age of 164, I believe he is still alive and well over 920 years old and he will continue bring toys and other presents to all the good children in the world on Christmas Eve until the end of time. I’m sure he just set that up so other people will never envy him and those who he is connected with because of them all having eternal life and immortality which other people in this world cannot have.
