I’m thinking it’s “the Goddess of Multitasking”….. Any better ideas?
Ivonne, many androgenous representations of God in what in the last few centuries is known as Hinduism. Yin and yang in one, i.e. we all have "male" and "female" of varying proportions in us 🙂

By Zhang Jigang , "The goddess of Mercy"
This video that has been forwarded to me, made me remember this photo of yours. Note: The dancers are hearing impaired.
lol… ‘-} Great minds… The Alieness, she is three weeks ahead of me!
I hunted this image down in your stream to link you to this same reminiscent video!
=))))
Van, the video is the same, but your link is way better. Thanks for posting it. It explains the whole thing in English. I received mine on an email from an uruguayian friend, so he explained in spanish (and was even hard for me to understand him!) 😉
Maybe i’m wrong, but i recognize Ganesha’s head, Shiva’s head, Hanuman’s head and Visnu’s head. I think the statue is meant to represent the whole Hindu pantheon
Well… these are the avatars of Vishnu, and male. But I like the caption "goddess of multitasking" anyway!
This idol in Singapore is a representation of Vishnu, the Supreme God in the Vaishnavite tradition of Hinduism.
He is the Lord Almighty, the Supreme Controller, the Protector of all that’s good and righteous in the Universe. Vishnu is the all-pervading Essence of all beings, Master of the past, present and future, Creator and Destroyer of all existences, who supports, sustains and governs the Universe and originates and develops all elements within.
this is the representation of hinduism,we consider our gods and goddesses as the main aspect of life…india rocks…we taught the world the greatness of life
to all : there is no need to make fun of this picture…it represents a religion and sentiments of many people…
This is Vishwaswaroop of Lord Krishna shown to Arjun in the battle field of kurukshetra (Shrimad Bhagavad-Gita, Chapter 11, Visvarupa Darsana yoga).
Interested in used this particular photograph as a promo (free) ebook cover. Are you good with that?
