   And in action on Endeavour, a beauty in motion… You can see the faint plumes from the Orbiter the photo I took on the right:

   

   Drop the bass…
   

   Then the twin turbos kick in….
   
   
   Regenerate, try not to hate…
   

   Shower me…
   
   
   The RS-25 is similar to the RL-10 that we have in our office, but less efficient. =)

   After looking at this for a few minutes and thinking about all the skills that created this. It basically started as a piece of paper. I can’t help fixate on the 2 tubes that run down the bell and wonder why the little right down left detour on the lower one? And why does there seem to be a disconnected one in the middle?

   Were these reused from launch to launch?

   Poole: If I had to guess, I’d say the detour is for thermal expansion. And yes, these were reused. The Shuttle was supposed to be cheaper than throwaway rockets but I don’t know if it worked out that way.

   Like are these rated for 118% to run and it gave the shuttle almost half an engine in thrust? find it wery funny to run something wayy beyond it;’s design parameters just to save some bucks???
